Two young boys named Milo and Melvin Chip ditch their parents to search for a planet that was found missing from the solar system. Using a wormhole, they are transported to a secret laboratory on the planet Hallow, where they inadvertently signal an army of extraterrestrial life forms known as the Kluuhvz (kl-oo-vz). Upon their arrest for trespassing the laboratory, the boys are immediately escorted to prison after trying to tell the authorites that they saw alien spaceships coming towards the planet.

Meanwhile, inside one of the satellites orbiting Hallow, a machine that controls existence's fabric explodes and causes everything to fall out of balance. Now Milo and Melvin have to restore their universe to its original form while protecting it from the invasion of the Kluuhvz.
