Kites Are Fun is a 1992 American traditionally animated musical short film produced by DJW Animation Studios and directed by Damen Walker. The eight-minute long short, which premiered on September 2, 1992, was primarily inspired by song lyrics from sunshine pop band The Free Design's 1967 debut album of the same name, with Kathie Lee Gifford writing and performing the original soundtrack to the short.

The short film was released on November 19, 1999, theatrically with Walker's first feature film The Landrums.
